CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS TIPPING COMPETITION (COCTC)

COCTC is a sports tipping competition in which you have to forecast the winning team or individual in 100 selected sporting events from Australia an around the world in a calendar year. COCTC is divided into two sections, the MAINS and the ROUGHIES. The MAINS are a list of 50 sporting events that you are to place at the start of the year and once submitted can’t be altered and are sent out to all participants of COCTC. The ROUGHIES (50) selections are placed during the year at selected times. ROUGHIES are placed the day before the events starts by 9.00pm (EST).

COCTC was first started in 2000 by a group of sports loving mates who wanted to test their sporting prowess against one another. Over the past 20 years the COCTC has grown to over 40 participants in 2023, with people from around Australia and as far away as Japan and England entering. 1st Prize in COCTC 2023 was $2100. I’m hoping to have over 70 sports nuts like myself enter COCTC 2024 with an estimated 1st Prize of over $4,000

My name is Gavin Forbes, I was apart of the 2003 COCTC winning team and I have entered COCTC since it first started and I love my sport. I took over the running of COCTC in 2004 and I would like to invite you, your family and friends, work colleagues who have a love for sport to take part in this competition.

Entry into COCTC is only $100 AUD.

Prize money is given at the end of the year to the Top 5 points scorers. Cash prizes are also given to the team that has scored the most points in each section (after 25, 50, 75 and 100 events).
